Placing Your Commission
Five easy steps to commission your portrait
Step 1 |
Please contact me via e-mail or on 01763 848915 to discuss your requirements for composition, sizing and to receive a quote. ( +44 1763 848915 if calling from outside the UK.) |
Step 2 |
Simply send me several high quality photographs of your pet(s). (JPEG format via e-mail emma@longdog-petportraits.co.uk or originals by recorded post). |
Step 3 |
I will send you a miniature sketch of the portrait via e-mail. If you are happy with the sketch and wish to continue, the painting will be started when a 40% deposit is received. The deposit covers the cost of materials and is non-refundable. At this stage any changes or concerns you may have can be discussed. |
Step 4 |
When the painting is finished a photograph of the portrait will be sent to you for approval via e-mail. |
Step 5 |
On receipt of full payment, your finished pet portrait will be delivered to you, via courier or recorded delivery. |
Payment
Payment can be made by cheque, postal order or bank transfer.
How long does the commission process take?
As a rough guide, once the photos have been received a miniature sketch should be ready for your approval within 3 weeks and the portrait completed within a further 5 weeks.
If you have special time requirements, i.e. if the portrait is a gift for a specific date, then please contact me to arrange an accelerated service.
